Hello, everyone, and thank you for your dedication and interest in helping out!

We are still in need of the following items: - NONPERISHABLE food (including baby food and formula) -Ensure or other nutritional supplements/meal replacement drinks; vitamins -blankets, coats/outerwear, warm clothing, gloves/hats/scarves (we currently have a lot of donated clothing such as t-shirts and are primarily in need of WARM clothing)
-baby products (diapers, wipes, etc.) -batteries, flashlights, candles, power strips -toiletries (including toilet paper and feminine products) -utensils such as spoons, bowls, cups -bottled water -generators -cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, cleaning products, paper towels

The main volunteer/donation center is located at St. Jacobi Church, 5406 4th Ave. (between 54th and 55th St.), Sunset Park, Brooklyn. At this location, you can drop off supplies, receive a volunteer orientation, join a dispatch team of volunteers going out into affected areas, and assist with general administrative needs. The center hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but it is best to come early in the day if you are volunteering. (Please be aware that there is no access to affected/flooded areas after dark due to strictly enforced curfews. If you wish to get into the field, please come before 2 p.m.)

If you are able to drop off donations directly in the Red Hook area, donations can be brought to 98 Richards Street, New York, NY or Miccio Community Center at 110 West 9th Street. Meals will still be served at 676 Hicks Street (intersection of Hicks and West 9th street).

Monetary donations can be made at: https://www.wepay.com/donations/occupy-sandy-cleanup-volunteers
